  As a Quality Manager, I am accountable and responsible for managing the Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities including quality inspection, gauge calibration, NDT special testing and floor inspections, quality control coordination with vendors, ensuring API, ISO, DNV, ABS and other source certifications, and managing general technical support for a manufacturing facility producing >750,000 units/year.I provide direction to ensure quality conformance (internal and industry standard) through the operations of the plant to minimize product liability exposure and loss. Implemented maintained repair schedule to achieve 91% OTD, while providing routine progress updates to interested parties, including the customer. Helped standardize the global Aftermarket Services DCI (Disassembly, Clean, Inspect) and ATP (Assembly, test, paint) cycle times and revised relevant task lists.
