I worked closely with Zack at Lirio for a year and a half. Initially as a direct report and later as a peer when our data team expanded to the point where I took lead of our data engineering team and collaborated closely with Zack's machine learning, data science and analytics teams. During this time, Zack built an exceptional team of data scientists, data analysts and machine learning engineers. I particularly appreciated all of the collaboration about different ideas, approaches and strategies while we built our respective pieces of Lirio's AI platform. If I had an idea I could always go to Zack for helpful, constructive feedback that resulted in a better result as well as the occasional nudge to think one step bigger or go one step further. I've heard people say you should look for colleagues you'd be happy to have a beer with. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Zack--or catching up over lunch or a beer.
