  Worked as a paid intern in my local governments Planning and Capital Projects team. Worked with project managers to supervise labor teams on site, survey sites using laser levels, and more. Attended multiple site and pre/post bid meetings and gained insight on what it’s like to negotiate in the construction industry. Also helped architects with the design of site plans for a dog park and learned the ins and outs of a day on site of a construction project.
