The Bulls-EYE Mentoring program promotes STEM through problem-solving and life skill activities for underrepresented middle school kids near the USF community. As a mentor, I was grouped with 3 students and together we designed and built competitive robots for various projects using Tetrix Prime and MyRio. Without prior experience in robotics, I was challenged to learn robotics with the students and the program designed it that way so we can also apply relative life skills and learn how to collaborate with the resources and knowledge we have.
