I've worked with dozens of process improvement specialists in my years at Kodak and I can say without a doubt that Yvette is the most practical one I've encountered. She specializes in being able to capture the benefits of good processes into easily manageable methods. While I managed the software organization I often asked Yvette to work with the leads to ease the impact of improving our processes. In many cases I doubt they even knew they were making improvements, she did it so smoothly One example stands out to me - Yvette championed bringing in Steve McConnell (author of Code Complete and other bibles of the software world) to validate the methods she was championing. He verified her direction completely. I would relish the opportunity to work with Yvette again.

Yvette led our process improvement team and is the most effective process improvement engineer I've known. Our organization had struggled for a few years trying to achieve CMM Level 2 certification. Under Yvette's leadership, we were able to achieve Level 2 certification in less than 18 months and were making strong progress to Level 3 certification. Yvette was able to deliver these results with a combination of effective training followed by hands-on assistance working with the teams on the implementation of the Key Process Areas. Yvette built an excellent rapport with the team leaders and was able to get them to buy-in to the value of process improvement. As a result of this work, the organization was able to realize a significant improvement in predictability and on-time delivery of new products.
