  As an OpenstreetMap contributor, I contribute to the production of geospatial data by digitizing infrastructures such as buildings and roads in several countries, including Cameroon. The data produced will be used by governments to facilitate decision-making in the event of natural disasters or to provide responses to humanitarian actions. Some activities include: Writing of content -I contributed to the writing of the blog between UNMAPPERS and Eureka Geo. (can be consulted through the following link : https://mappers.un.org/news/blog/2021/07/Eureka-Geo-UN-Mappers-training-OSM ) OSM Community Engagement: -In order to show the importance of using geospatial data in general and OSM data specifically in the identification of infrastructure, I produced a map of the Kribi II District Commune by highlighting the infrastructure from the OSM data present in this commune. In addition, given the importance of using OSM data, I proposed an action plan to national actors to improve the quality of the data. Show less

  Took part in a twelve week Data Quality Internship at Humanitarian OpenstreetMap Team, the internship was supported by Meta and included training from Mapbox, OSGeo and Kontur. The internship involved in-depth training in a wide range of geospatial tools QGIS, JOSM, Mapbox studio, Overpass Turbo, OSMcha, OSMose, Disaster Ninja, RapId Editor, UMap, OSGeo Live, MapRoulette. Together with 18 fellow interns, we checked and cleaned (validated) a large amount of OpenStreetMap data accross twelve countries to ensure its readiness for disaster response and field mapping activities .
