  The electric power load analysis method commonly used today is a too simplistic approach.It entails extra-cost in purchasing and maintaining the machines and the electrical installation. Two possibilities were studied : - improving the analytic method by using detailed data from electrical equipment, crew schedule, habits. - replacing the common method by a stochastic one that consists in simulating a great number of scenarii for the use of electrical equipment (modeled by a probability distribution) I developed VBA tools so that both methods are ready to use. I then proved on several cases their efficiency. But an industrial validation would require extensive measurement offshore. Show less

  Morbihan Energies is responsible for the electrical network of the 261 cities of the department of Morbihan, France. Its missions encompasse improvement and maintenance of the network, promotion of renewable energies and electric cars (installation of 200 charging stations across the department). I went through all these aspects by: - laying underground electrical and fiber networks and electrical transformers (1 week of blue-collar work) - designing the plan of these networks - controlling the work on the field - studying Kergrid, a smart commercial building that is able to disappear from the grid 2 hours during peaks, thanks to its storage capacity and own electricity production.
