Responsible for taking care of all your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration system including Marine and Oil and gas HVAC. Provide internal and external support to client for problem solving and intention to support on equipment and installation. - Support on HVAC system for solution and recommendation of repairing and preventive maintenance. - Oil rig support including barges, submersibles, platforms, jackups, and floaters - Marine vessel support including FPSO, LNG, Bulk Carriers, General Cargo Vessels, Container Vessels, Reefer Vessels - Involve in compressor overhauling and reconditioning (hands-on) - Coordinate installation schedule with team members and other departments working on the project. - Monitor site activities and make sure all rules and regulations are followed. Making reports on daily progress made at work and ensuring it reaches the superiors. - Ensure safe construction of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance according to rules and regulations set by the safety policy manual by the company. They will have to ensure the protection and safety equipment is 100 per cent tried and tested for safe use. - Arrange labor and other professionals including pipe fitter, duct fitter and assistant duct fitter. They also act as a supervisor for the installation and maintenance project. - Site survey and troubleshooting - Common system servicing and preventive maintenance - Surveying sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems - Planning the placement of pipework, ducts and control panels - Installing HVAC components - Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely - Carrying out maintenance on HVAC systems - Finding and fixing faults - Oversee installations - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment - Apply local HVAC codes in a practical manner on each job - Provide technical support in the field Show less
