Participation and coordination of continuous improvement project collaborating with technical office headquarters based in Selters, Germany. Lay-out design to implant new machinery and equipment. OEE optimization. Supervision of different assembly and installation processes. Design and amendment of 2D and 3D project plans. Piping and routing. Contract supervision and execution. Achievements: I supervised and technically leaded the project to renew the lighting system in different factory buildings. The project was based in changing the obsolete metal halide luminaries for LED technology with shinning sensor to optimize the light intensity during the day. I provided technical support to upgrade the new emplacement for the injection moulding machine Krauss Maffei 2000 including the enhancement of the cooling systemt, pipe renewing and space optimization. I projected and supervised the upgrade of the compressed air generation for the new assembly line for the IBC container manufacturing. I successfully unmounted the old IBC assembly line to reinstall it in another Schütz plant in less than 5 days due the tight deadlines established by the project needs. I upgraded the air generation plant substituting the obsolete compressors and dryers for a nowadays technology with smart control system to optimize the energy savings and adapt it according to the production needs. The pipe routing was redesigned to reduce head losses and pressure drops projecting all the routing with isometric drawings and 3D designs. Mechanical Engineer

Design and amendment of 2D and 3D project plans starting from sketch based and installation on side. This process includes the calculation of critical parts, for example: toque, drum rotational speed, shafts, hydraulic pistons, gearbox etc. The technical drawings were done with AutoCAD Mechanical and 3D drawings were drawn with Inventor or Catia V5. Supervision of the assembly process of the previously designed machines and their subsequent installation at the vessel controlling daily work and giving instructions to the mechanics. Management and coordination of repairing processes for different industrial and marine engines (CAT3208, CAT D399, Cummins KTA 50 MII Jenbacher LM1500, Baudouin 8 M26.2) including daily supervision and technical support. Taking part in the design of hydraulic circuits for marine purposes. These designs always included a previous visit to the vessel in order to discuss with the client their needs and check existing installation. Once defined the initial requirements I started with the designing phase including PID diagrams, software simulation using Fluid Sim, perform some test assembling the critical parts at the workshop to ensure their correct functioning. Achievements: I designed the thrusters for the “Costa Balear” vessel. The design was based on an hydraulic motor and a conical gear transmission 1:1 to transmit the torque to the shaft. I successfully supervised the overhaul process of the gas engine Jenbahcer LM1500. During this process I changed the control unit responsible for positioning dumper blades in order to increase or decrease air admission according to the engine’s needs. I co-managed the overhaul process of the marine engines CAT D399 located at the oil rig “Casablanca” and marine Engine Cummins KTA 50 MII. Due the number of hours and a lack of maintenance these engines were completely disassembled just leaving the engine block substituting liners, pistons, connecting rod bearing, injectors and gaskets.
