Actually another project of stupid services that simply provides info in json about sports events.Oh what are the hell is going on with this world.. Entertainments, food and entertainments. All services written in java and eating memory like a hell.I'm staying aside of java tests... (I don't like Java and I want to be a part what making it is popular)- for my automation I'm using jmeter for testing perfomance;- written few perl utilities that parsing data and php for monitoring it on webpage;- QT cometd client and websocket to matching and find the same messages from different services and measure delay in delivery;- UI cometD client to ease testing of cometd data. After two years:- now mostly working with performance and load testing using JMeter for http and my own QT (c++) client for cometD load testing;- I've created custom report viewer using php, mysql, javascript (pure without frameworks) , to visualize automation reports and analyzing results;- and now have more possibility to use bash for automation.

Sport team - backend part of team.(Dark) back side of sport app it's a web based technologies. So automation usually it's a simple analysing and comparison of different json and xml sources from different endpoints. As you understand it's post/get requests and json/xml parsing. We are not limited in using of different tools, so I'm usually using QT framework to wrote my tools for fully and half automated testing process (Because I just want improve my QT skills). Mainly I'm involved in testing of few services: - one service for messaging to iOS (apns) and Android (devices) - this service has simple web interface to interact with it. As result posting different request are triggered of different messages sending;- another one service is signalR based server, which used for immediate client updating - you are sending message that you want to get some updates and server automatically sends json formatted updates to client once they occurred;- third service is simple http interface for sending updates by request from client - you are posting some request that you want to get update and you will get json formatted answer. In difference from previous service, this one sends updates only by request (mainly I'm not included in testing of thi server, but I'm using it often enough); So I wrote few QT tools to perform testing of this servers. What is very annoying for me in this project it's luck of direct access to DB. You need to use some web services to get data from DB in xml/json format parse them. It's slow and unefficient way to get data. But it's a way what we are using here....

Poker, no, it's not just simply poker it's 888poker :) IMHO the best desktop application.Poker team the most interesting project in 888. Windows application, mac application, iOs and android (adobe air), flash browser app and HTML5 app.But poker it's not just client, it's all stuff behind client, different servers and big infrastructure.- test planning;- writing test cases;- writing STP based on BRD and LD and after testing - STR;- writing manuals;- manual testing of servers (using client and special simulator);- writing QTP(UFT) tests (but really I don't like it it's heavy weight and slow buggy app);- I prefer vbs and autoit instead of UFT;- writing different tools using vbs, vba;- performing load and performance tests, compare and analyse results;- automation of client under OSx (mac) using UFT, ssh, bash, perl, osascript;- writing small cross platform helpfull app using QT for changing client configuration in fast way;- automation of some scheduled tasks using batch;- working with MS SQL managment studio mainly just for query data from DB and verify it;- using soap UI;- automation of WSDL requests using vbs;- we used QC for test planing, test cases but after all moved to TFS (MTM) because of QC price;- Testing apps in different browser under different OS, using wireshark and http analyser (under windows it's good for https connections) to analyse results;- etc etc....Yes, I know poker rules holde'm, omaha, 7stud no matter hi or lo :)

Dragon speech recognitionSoftware oriented to recognize medical speech. For example you're the doctor your hand is busy but you need to write everything what you see, that's why you need that, it's even possible to record and recognize later. It's client-server application. Thin web based client and powerful background server part (based on Powerscribe SDK) for storing and handling huge amount of data.Mainly it was manual testing:- writing test cases;- run test cases;- configuring complete server systems starting from MSSQL DB and finishing with ISS configuration;- jira as bug tracking system.

The main tasks was managing personal's database, telecommunication database maintenance. And it's includes next knowledges:- installing/configuring/maintenance/importing/exporting Oracle DB;- writing simple procedures for oracle, firebird;- installing/configuring/clustering Informix7 DB;- writing some small applications for example interesting it's sending DB status using network to operator chat (as chat client I've used miranda opensource client)- assembling servers;- installing and configuring RHEL (yeah the first job where I've used my knowledge about linux :) ).- maintenance of old linux servers (that's really funny when people who got twice more salary than you, calling you just to check what's wrong, and after all it's just no free disk space or something else but in short words it's ukrtelecom)That's interesting how I've got this job.World economic crisis and sure in Ukraine too. I have two propositions from two different companies. One company branch was closed due to crisis little bit later and I knew that this might happen so i didn't consider it. So i've choose between another company proposition and proposition from Ukrtelecom's HR to become DBA. Looking back I can tell maybe my choice was wrong but not fatal and later I've got position in first company. After crisis this salary was really small and there was no good reviewing... That's why I've moved to the next step.

Repair and adjustment PBX equipment.I was the part of team responsible for repairing various DSL technologies, some of them were older than me. Starting from old huge racks to really new - HDSL modems. When guys realized that it's better to use my possibilities in backward engineering all of new devices were mine :), repairing something when you don't have schematics and you just using datasheets and trying to examine how it works just with multimeter and oscilloscope it's very interesting.- reading schematics;- reading datasheets;- find problem using oscilloscopes, multimeters, generators;- fix problems by replacing components;- using solder station;- firmware altera (CPLD) and atmega etc...

IT Service support for courts and small companies.- PC repairing/configuring/installing/assembling;- OS installing/configuring;- building networks;- different software support;- 1C (special accounting software developed by Russians for countries with stupid and complicated accounting systems) installing/configuring/support;It was a short time, but good as temporary place to get some another experience. To see what background of our court system...Again I've moved forward, salary again wasn't good, but the main reason of my moving that after one month when I've left it, this company lost main contract with court and local branch has been closed.

My first job after graduating (almost after because I wasn't graduated yet when started to work :) ).I was involved in a few projects in parallel.Non graphical PCB design (shame on me but really i don't remember name of project)Yes maybe it sounds interesting, but actually this project wasn't really interesting. It's web based GUI where you need to enter different data and validate. Load bunch of data from csv. Calculate them in different ways and see if some errors generated by the system. Repeat and repeat again and using different ways.Write a bugs (we used lotus notes as time scheduling and bug tracking system)Omnipage OCR softwareIt was mine hobby to install different versions of windows make back up of partitions to help different people. And now in this project this my experiences were very useful.Different windows versions on limited software and you need fresh OS every time in limited time. Reinstall/install/backup partitions that's the way how I did that. Sure it was manual testing project too.Small salary forced me to move forward. Just imagine that I need two Months to buy not expensive guitar if not buying anything else. So finally I've bought it - Ibanez GRX-40 we still together.
