  Research in the area of Plasmonics and Nanophotonics at the Electronics and Photonics Department. Fundamental studies on optical resonances, electrical and optical excitation of eigenmodes. Simulation of a range of spectroscopic techniques including infrared (IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, x-ray reflectometry (XRR), leakage radiation microscopy (LRM), electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS), cathodoluminescence (CL), and scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM).Selected for inclusion in A*STAR Research Highlights (2015) by Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).

  Research in the area of Plasmonics, Nanophotonics, and Photovoltaics at the Electronics and Photonics Department. Study of optical properties of metal and dielectric nanostructures. Optoelectronic modelling of organic (P3HT:PCBM) bulk-heterojunction and inorganic (Si, a-Si:H) thin-film solar cells, plasmonic solar cells; optimization of nanoparticle-enhanced thin-film solar cells.Published five highly cited (>100 citations) first-author papers. Two first-author papers were in top 5 of most downloaded articles from the publisher site for 7, 30, and 90 days. Two times selected for inclusion in A*STAR Research Highlights (in 2009 and 2010) by Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).
