This position will have primary responsibilities for student life services for students who study away in New York. Based in the Office of Global Programs, and reporting to the Site Director for New York as a study away site, the incumbent will liaise with various units within Global Programs, as well as units in Shanghai and Abu Dhabi, and relevant units in New York as required (e.g. Student Affairs, Housing, schools). The objective is to assure that study away students to New York are well prepared to integrate into the NYU community and subsequently have a successful semester/term. Duties will include logistical and programmatic support for students; creation of pre-departure and orientation materials for students studying in New York; implementation of strategic plans to continue to evolve study away in New York; and other duties as assigned.
