At Dr. BJ Fregly's Rice Computational Neuromechanics Lab (RCNL), I get trained to research engineering solutions to challenging orthopaedic problems. I collaborate closely with clinical professionals and other research engineers to help cancer patients maximize their post-treatment functional potential. Specifically, I assess fixation durability and design custom-made pelvic implants for Type-II acetabular reconstruction using patient-specific finite element models.
