Basically as a merchandising is to work with some of the following roles:Coordination with the Principles and DistributorsIt is the responsibility and the primary role of merchandising, to maintain a relationship of mutually beneficial cooperation between the principal or distributors with the Indomaret store and Indogrosir.Coordination with the Operational Team StoreThis is a form of internal cooperation within the company, which in the daily work of any items that have been purchased to the supplier must be ensured displayed properly in the store. Besides, the selling price has been determined by the merchandising and can be exposed well. This applies to the normal selling price and also promotion price as wellMerchandising must ensure that the purchase price for Indomaret and Indogrosir is in the best condition, so the selling price in the market can compete with competitors with optimum margins. In addition to the purchase price, other things that must be considered is the service level delivery on purchasing order of Indomaret and Indogrosir should reach 100%, so that the effectiveness and efficiency of the distribution process can run well.To help increase sales and profits, then every month we made proposal promotion plans to suppliers.. So basically merchandising should be a balance between the interests of the internal company with the interests principle or distributor. At this stage I am responsible for the procurement of goods for sale in the store Indomaret and Indogrosir, especially in the category of food products.Indomaret is a minimarket network that provides basic needs and daily needs with vast stores of less than 200 m2. Managed by PT. Indomarco Prismatama, the first store opened in Ancol, North Jakarta, in 1988.In 1997 the company developed the first business franchise outlets in Indonesia, after Indomaret tested with more than 230 outlets.
