• Proposed a Hybrid high-level synthesis (H-HLS) framework to enable the design and optimization of application-specific embedded systems in which timing information is explicitly and precisely defined in state-based system models. Designed a wearable pregnancy monitoring device to examine the proposed methodology. • Proposed a Pruned Genetic Design Space Exploration (PG-DSE) approach to post-synthesis (HLS) DSE that involves a pruning method to effectively reduce the system-level design space and an elitist genetic algorithm to accurately find the system-level Pareto-optimal configurations.Publications:• Y. Liao, T. Adegbija, R. Lysecky. "Efficient System-Level Design Space Exploration for High-Level Synthesis using Pareto-Optimal Subspace Pruning". In 28th Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference (ASPDAC’ 23).• Y. Liao, T. Adegbija, R. Lysecky.
