Participate in two research teams: the team for the agricultural information collection and process, the team of big data and artificial intelligence. The current research interests include intelligent agriculture and modeling of mobile fading channels. Meanwhile, I am involved in the Bachelor Education Program, which includes teaching bachelor courses such as “Information Theory”, “Principle of Communications”, “Mobile Communications” and supervising the bachelors’ graduation projects. Summary of skills: 1. Fundamental knowledge of various machine learning algorithms, data mining; 2. Working with the real cases of applying machine learning algorithms to intelligent agriculture, e.g., apply the CNN neural networks to face recognitions, detect plants lack of nitrogenous fertilizer 3. Experience with TensorFlow

Analyzed credit risk figures throughout the credit cycle focusing on portfolio performance. Controlled and reported Nordic Credit Risks including credit risk budget, market risks, limits plan, forecast and actuals for management and regulatory purposes. The work experience include: 1. Report the monthly risks to the headquarter, propose next month’s budget and forecast risks based on the available credit data. 2. Cooperate with the Financial department and IT to build the big data center of Santander Consumer bank. 3. Develop scorecard models based on regression algorithms.

Participated in the Oil & Gas delivery projects for Stat Oil within the area of condition monitoring, which performs analysis through data and measurement to intelligently monitor the performance &conditions of whole compressor systems, identify significant changes, predict exceptions, and provide necessary information & trend display to operators. The industry project experience in: 1. Propose theoretical models & algorithms for condition monitoring based on historical data (the main proposed method has been deployed at customers’ pilot and published in a journal).2. Explore and collect data from drive, validate data, aggregate data, develop diagnostics algorithms and statistical modeling to predict faults & exceptions.3. Visualize the analysis results by the GUI through C# and .Net so that users could check the real- time performance and trend display through web pages4. Develope mobile Apps for operators and engineers, from where users could see the real-time analysis results & trend display and receive the live work tasks, messages, alarms. I worked for both project management & development. 5. Productize project outcomes. Summary of skills:1. 4+ year working experience in R&D and customer delivery projects: Strong ability to formulate business needs/requirements into research topics. Solution oriented and work efficiently when collaborate with others and cross-functional teams across the organization.2. Profession in presentations and technical writing in project documents, technical reports, scientific papers.3. 4+ year project experience in analyzing industry data and developing algorithms for performance monitoring, which especially focuses on data analysis, data mining, data corrections, data modeling, exception prediction, and data visualization. Work with principal components analysis, K mean, K-nearest neighbors, support vector machine, etc..

Academic Visitor in Imperial College, London
-
Mar 2013 - Sep 2013
Took the secondment from ABB to Imperial College, London and worked with the data analysis research team in field of time synchronization for large industrial data sets.Industry-academic project experience: participated in the “REAL-SMART” project funded by Marie Curie FP7 IAPP scheme. The project targets at monitoring and managing power transmission systems through industrial measurements. My main duty is to assess quality of industrial measurements; data mining, use mathematics/statistics methods and machine learning algorithms to synchronize industrial data with different clock.

The main research interests are modeling the mobile fading channels, design/simulating wireless communication systems, and system performance analysis. 1. Studied the statistics experimental data collected from real channels. 2. Developed mathematic channel models which can characterize fading behavior of the real mobile channels. 3. Optimized channel parameters to fit into measurements or statistical models. 4. Designed and simulated wireless communication systems. The investigated technologies, such as OFDM and MIMO, have been adapted as the key 4G technologies in LTE. 5. Theoretically analyzed the performance of the communication systems over the developed channel models. 6. 25% teaching obligation in statistics, mathematics, Matlab, and mobile communications for master students. Industry-academic project experience: participated in the “Optimized Heterogeneous Multiuser MIMO Networks - OptiMO” project founded by Research Council of Norway.

Participated in the research on communication networks such as cross layer design for high layers, power saving issues in sensor networks, and ad hoc networks. I used Matlab to simulate various communication systems. I also got the chance to study the measurements of some sensor networks. After data analysis, I found solutions to reduce the power consumptions of distributed sensors. I have simulated various communications systems in Matlab. Gained solid knowledge in mathematics, signal processing, statistics topology, etc.. Academic project experience: participated in four national projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the country’s Education Ministry Foundation such as: 1. Participated in the project named “Research on Key Technologies for Error Correcting Schemes at High Speed Transmission Based on OFDM” supported by National Nature Science Foundation of China (project duration: 2004.1~2006.12). 2. Participated in the project named "Key theory and technique research of Ad hoc network over Four Generation mobile communication" supported by China Education Ministry Foundation (project duration: 2004.1~2006.12)
