Project: Mapping Neural Sequences using EEG data

  The objective of the project was to use a portable tool to read neural sequences (EEG headset) onto a person without a limb and make real-time predictions on the data streaming from their brain and map movements on to the bionic limb attached to their body. Thereby, augmenting the lives of people who have lost limbs or due to accidents or natural causes.My objective in this mission was to create a deep learning model that could interpret this time-series data and map theses neural sequences using Convolutional Neural Networks. I chose to develop this algorithm using TensorFlow with Keras as the back-end. My contribution to the project was a Deep Convolutional Neural Network with a maximum score of 92% accuracy.

  Hekate is a home automation solutions company. Automating all the appliances in your home to build the homes of the future. I have built the software and the hardware required to control the lights, fans, televisions, air-conditioners, curtains, doors and a few other common use-case devices. All of these devices communicate with network and power fail-safes keeping in mind the common problem most Pakistanis face. If there is availability of internet, the Hekate application would allow interfacing with other smart home devices such as Google Home and Amazon Alexa.Listed below are some of the roles I was responsible for;● Writing code in C and microPython.● Configuring the microcontroller's peripherals and interfaces, such as serial communication, I2C, and SPI.● Developing algorithms and logic to control the microcontroller and its peripherals, based on input from sensors and user interfaces.● Collaborating with other engineers, such as hardware designers and system architects, to ensure that the microcontroller software is integrated and functioning correctly.
