  Tested speed and accuracy of DNA amplification for in-house DNA polymerases using qPCR. Scaled up expression and purification of several DNA polymerases through large scale bioreactor fermentation. Produced approximately 400 grams of E-Coli cell mass per week long fermentation run. Completed a modified purification scheme and demonstrated that the enzymes were free of previously common endonuclease contamination which had hindered previous applications.
