The Senior Specialist Business and Commercial – Contracts role is responsible and accountable for the overall performance of nominated strategic contracts. Such performance entails all legal, commercial, financial / P&L, risk management, contractual obligations, service delivery, governance, quality assurance and operational alignment of managed outsourced / IT contracts. Emphasis is also placed on customer centricity and contract profitability. o Track customer contractual financial requirements and risks. o Enhance customer reporting and represent Liquid Telecom in monthly customer Steerco and Manco, from a financial and governance perspective. o Liaise directly with client to determine agreed billing per month. o Establish and maintain contract P&L in conjunction with Finance. o Collection and management of cash flow in project. o Provide strategic input into proposals for costing purposes and assist Sales with pre-sales pricing / costing support by means of a Business Case and contract pricing / rate tables. o Accountable for the end to end execution of contractual deliverables in co-operation with cross functional teams. o Identify, mitigate & manage contract risks. o Responsible for maintaining good customer relationship. o Manage and track the movement of customer assets on behalf of the customer. o Manage contract amendment process with customer against approved variations or adoption of new Services for allocated contract.
