  Duties (Major 1 - 9): 1. Involve in the setup, commission and support for both local & overseas vision equipment. 2. Provide the first line of support in the are of troubleshooting & maintenance for vision system running in customer's site. 3. Provide written report after each trip to a customer's site, particularly the description of the problem, observation of any abnormality, collection of data and troubleshooting steps taken. 4. Perform coordinating, vision hardware troubleshooting or code modification (Vision Software) for each assigned project. 5. Provide troubleshooting for any defects discovered from the above-mentioned activity. Seek the Senior Engineer's help when the defects are deem unresolvable. 6. Undertake the design of Vision electrical system for project. 7. Update the soft copy of project related documents to Source Control Management (SCM) server consistently. 8. Update the print-out of project related documents in the physical project folder consistently. 9. Provides support on vision hardware and software. This involves adjusting camera, light sources and vision recipe to fulfill customer's requirement. Duties (Minor 10 - 16): 10. Monitor the wiring activities done by technicians to ensure that the planned schedule is adhered and the wiring quality is preserved. 11. Perform calibration and correlation on the vision system. 12. Conduct device functional check after the wiring job is completed. 13. Participate in online training or on-the-job training assigned by the Manager. 14. To perform any other duty as and may be assigned by management from time to time. 15. Provide training for vision system during setup or upon customer request. 16. Involve in machine buy-off on vision system during machine setup/servicing. Show less
