As an interesting endeavor, when between IT projects, I have chosen to explore how well could IT/programming be delivered to School students. Both Primary & Secondary. But by "knowledge delivery", I don't mean short cut concepts. I mean "IT" that is relevant enough for our youngsters to at least pursue their own whim, like developing their own video game! A very progressive school was pitching exactly that in their extra vocations. I relish the challenge to keep coming up with innovative concepts to keep students interested in an IT technology curriculum. And at the same time, giving them enough confidence to go ahead and make themselves, their very own game.

      • Jan 2019 - Present

While with my own training classes, I joint SDA, a powerful and formidable IT academy in Europe. The one outstanding feature about them that drew me in was their willingness to teach high quality JAVA with a need to keep updating their training code base to the latest trends that will arm students to handle real life IT situations, rather than just theory. At present besides passionately training students and other teachers to delivery crisp lectures, I plan to improve the present educational material as well as their vault's code. SDA is already one of the largest providers of JAVA in Europe, and I look forward to disclosing the true power of the newer versions of JAVA(and emerging cross platform technologies like Flutter) to the young generation. Teaching students, Training Trainers, Improving code bases, Taking Tech Interviews, On boarding new recruits and restructuring learning materials is what keeps me busy!

    • Android Firebase Flutter Training
      • Apr 2018 - Present

I realized, many young developers arent able to take the big step from study material to real world IT situations, because they have never been really taught todays bleeding edge technologies that taken on our present worlds IT problems. University graduates so often hold, out-dated data-basing tools, rusty server side concepts or no cloud concepts. So I chose to start my own classes where I taught Firebase. To enable the young developer to tackle real stuff like Facebook, and be able to build things like that, to make his/her start up idea into a reality. Till today, I have my own classes helping students understand Android & the Web integration with the Firebase cloud. Online & Offline, on some semesters I log a head count of close to 65-80 students. I can safely say I am the first guy in the entire Baltic region to kick start this new breed of programmers!

    • Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting
    • 700 & Above Employee
    • Customer Service Specialist
      • Sep 2017 - Dec 2017

Started as a Customer Services Representative for the UPS Tracking Team, and was soon upgraded to a Universal Customer Service Specialist by undergoing the training for UPS Shipping too. It was a brilliant insight into working with customers all over Europe. I was lucky to be in touch with such talented and intelligent seniors from whom I furthered my skill of handling large volumes of clients on an everyday basis. Sometimes it would hit close to 80-100/day with checking & follow ups, especially because I began my work at the most busiest time of the year where traffic could quadruple! The conversion of a cases from tight spots into success stories was an extremely satisfying job experience... Something which I had never felt at any of my previous employments or freelancing endeavors.

      • 2007 - 2017

During my stay with Venom, I found doing just Tshirts was too constraining for a creative professional. Creative Merchandising was surely the larger cog in this field. So, i started a Merchandising company of my own, by buying over 2 factories(Tshirts & Bags) & putting a 50% stake in another(Caps). In these last 10yrs my activities included-1. Software:-I had to build an entire business system with a back end to handle Salaries, Raw Material stocks, Sales & Distributors, Logistics, Invoicing, Suppliers, Labourers, Financials, Sales Tax payouts, Reports etc etcTowards the end i also made an android app to keep me abreast with any changes i would not be able add until i get to my laptop/factory computer.2. Creatives Designing:-All artworks, designs, demos, mock ups were done by me. Conceptualising, Corel & PS developments for pitches and Final merchandise approvals 3. Client Servicing:-Very valuable part of this job was having meetings as the main representative of my company with other Clients, Creative Heads, Direct customers etc etc. Handling Clientele from the time you pitch an idea, through approvals, updates, delivery... all the way till the final payment, is something I learnt by only stepping into this circle. Experience gained from here is something i dont think any book, course or tutorial would have ever given me. 4. Salary & Labour:- Besides Client servicing, I had to also handle labour at my Factories. Salaries, appraisals, employee benefits, regular interactions, employee personal growth etc etc . From all my 10 years I would rate this as the most spiritually satisfying & gratuitous moments. 5. Training & Production:-After stable returns on investments grew more than my over heads I revoked my "1 man Army" status! I began training others to handle & over see production as well as servicing clients. This is a constant and on going ritual with the birth of new technologies & entry of new workers, but its importance must never be ignored.

    • Freelance Programmer
      • 1999 - 2004

While still in Grad Year Univ... I picked up C & C++ while being a data entry operator. I continued doing small freelance programming jobs while studying in a diploma software center, learning VB, Java, JS, RDBMS, Asp.Net, CSS etc etc. I went very deep into VB + Databasing that covered ERP systems, Business CRM modules, Invoicing & Attendance Automation, Finger Print Recognition, Speech Recognition etc etc. Since I was proficient in English & a confident orator I would also be the chosen one for all Training, Client Queries & deploying at client centers. As work opportunities poured in & further enriched my experience in the software industry, I also further took to Technical Writing & Product documentation as I felt as a developer I described and tabulated the product way better than an external source. And this is what laid the stepping stone to my Creative/ Technical writing advent in the Advertising world.
