Job Principle To provide advisory services to UMW Group of companies on risk management related matters by conducting research, emerging risk analysis, market trends analysis affecting the Group and benchmarking with industries/standards best practices. In charge in planning, organizing and facilitate risk assessment workshops by providing independent assessment on the risk identification, risk action plans and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Provide adequate communication on the ERM policy and ERM methodology as well as the ERM system in order to ensure the effectiveness of ERM implementation within the UMW Group. To prepare ERM reports for Senior Manager’s review on a regular and timely basis. Thereafter, to be approved by Head, Group Risk Management Division prior to submission to RMC/ IRMC & Board Job Responsibilities Planning yearly risk assessment process for portfolio in charge. Review risk profiles and provide independent advice on potentials risk that could have adverse impact to the organization. Provide independent recommendations on risk action plans to manage the risks identified and subsequently monitor the implementation of the risk action plans. Carryout research on the potential risks that could threat the organization’s objective and this date is used during the risk discussion with the respective PICs.
