Yogeesha is an extremely talented QA and a great team member that I would highly recommended. We worked together for the best part of 9 months. Due to a quick hand over from the previous BA, the team (Yogeesha as our only QA and the developer team) became a vital point of knowledge transfer for me. Yogeesha knowledge of the business domain and the systems architecture was invaluable to me. Furthermore, the team worked extremely well together. Many 3 amigo moments rather than a common QA approach i’ve seen of ‘test failed > raise defect’ reaction; Which can cause contention in a team. Where defects were raised they were balanced and fair/correct. This was due to Yogeesha understanding of the business scenarios that could happen and what the platform the system sat on could support/do. Our code release to UAT and then Live went well, with minimal to no defects detected in live. This was truly a team that worked well together from our open door policy with the SME’s, Product Owner (Finance Director) to the delivery team. To highlight Yogeesha achievement of good code going to production. The finance system was needed for many purposes. For the brokers to enter their deals, the finance team to forecast money coming into the company and for other systems to identify new work/fixtures. One major defect and the knock on effect could be extremely damaging across the company. I hope Yogeesha and I will have the opportunity to work together again.
