Growth Analysis is a government agency under the direction of the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications and a worldwide, cross-border organisation with 60 employees. The main office is located in Östersund, Sweden, but activities are also conducted in Stockholm, Brasilia, New Delhi, Beijing, Tokyo and Washington, D.C. Responsible for: Policy analysis and evaluation of the national program "Promoting women's entrepreneurship". Scrutinized and analysed the programs short term results and local level execution. Wrote and published two reports. • The first includes an assessment of the design and logic of the program as well as designing the evaluation of the policy impact. • The second is a co-written compilation describing entrepreneurship interventions in 5 European countries, all interventions aiming to promote women’s entrepreneurship. Reports were published 30th of April 2014. Organized a workshop with known researchers in entrepreneurship policies. Used public tendering for a compilation report. Policy portfolio with an annual budget of SEK 1,156 million and 20 people reporting to me within the Government Offices. Responsible for; Drafted new policies, wrote speeches, political texts and debating articles for the Minister for Enterprise. Planned the Ministers visits and prepared her background material. Negotiated the implementation of domestic and EU-policies. Represented the Government as a lecturer, in meetings with advocacy groups and in contacts with the European Union. Responsible for Entrepreneurship policies including SME:s, Innovation funding, New industries, Smart Regulation and Social Policies for Entrepreneurs. Initiated an inquiry to investigate the process of the “cutting of red tape”, the inquiry was to be performed by an independent commissioner. The disappointing result was reported a year later and work to further improve the Smart Regulation for competitiveness for business people and entrepreneurs have now been restarted. Launched a pilot program for sustainable tourism with 6 destinations targeted as having a favourable prospect to grow on an international market. This program has now been halfway evaluated and results are promising. Show less

Each party group and its members is assisted by a secretariat in the Riksdag, with experts, political advisers and assistants who are employed by the party. The political advisers collect information, prepare drafts of political texts, handle media contacts, answer e-mails and serve as a sounding board for the members. Responsible for: Suggested new political ideas and monitored scientific developments and debates in Labour Market-, Industry- and Social Policies. These were presented and discussed and debated in drafts, speeches, seminars and meetings with politicians from other parties, other political advisers and with advocacy groups. Project manager and secretary of the party’s new program for welfare, the most successful suggestion have led to an increase of the free choice model in elderly- and health care. Result is that municipalities have to hand over the power of choice of “welfare services” to the citizens. The free-choice model benefits SMEs in the welfare sector compared to the old public procurement model. Show less

Trygghetsfonden TSL is a foundation based on a collective agreement between the two biggest organisations on the Swedish Labour Market - Svenskt Näringsliv (The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise) and LO (The Swedish Trade Union Confederation). It’s the first privately financed organisation that offers employment services in a free-choice model. Responsible for; Built up the organisation with a range from interpreting the founders intentions and developing them into policies to designing application forms. Responsible for procurement and quality evaluation of the suppliers of the employment services. Travelled around the country to inform and educate unions, employers, workers and the suppliers on how the system worked and how the polices interrelated to labour law and the social security system. Short-term results shows that 80 per cent of the displaced workers never burdened the public system. First impact evaluations will be performed during 2015. Continually managed the public procurement and quality evaluation of 40 suppliers, with an annual turnover of SEK 300 million. Constructed an evidence-based evaluation process together with The Institute for Evaluation of Labour Market and Education Policy (IFAU) to follow up on the services and organisations result in getting people back into work. Organized advocacy groups and meetings with Members of Parliament and the Minister for Employment to develop new free choice procurement policies for employment services. The TSL-model was later copied and in 2009 implemented in the offer to the unemployed from the National Employment offices. Show less
