The UNDP Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTF Office) facilitates UN coherence and development effectiveness and assists the UN system and national governments in establishing and administering pooled financing mechanisms. As a portfolio analyst I develop, establish and administer multi-partner trust funds for the MPTF Office's transition cluster. This include translating fund objectives and theories of change into concept notes with detailed fund architecture and governance structures. I also provide support to global and country-level fund secretariats to set priorities, identify solutions and develop efficient administrative structures. I monitor performance and provide donors with results-based reporting. My portfolio covers approx. 50 million USD and 200 projects per year. In addition, I contribute to the formulation of guidelines, procedures and policies, such as a legal framework giving NGOs direct access to UN pooled funds, and raise awareness on multi-partner trust funds and system wide UN financing through e.g. the report ”Financing the UN Development System” and other outreach activities.
