  In my role as Communications Coordinator for World Food Programme China Office, I demonstrated sound knowledge of media and development, constructive ideas and a strong work ethic which have made a significant impact across WFP communications activities. I leverage the diverse media channels and corporate platforms, the stakeholders include government partners, the private sectors, the general public and celebrity partners to promote WFP brand awareness, and mobilize resources for WFP global operations. In this unique way, not only did I develop my practical skills in communications, but also confirmed my leadership skills through managing project and coordinating stakeholders to deliver impactful activities.

  • Manage Protocol matters and facilitate China’s participation in public events, e.g 30th anniversary of cooperation between WFP and China, photo exhibition, and Walk the World charity run. • Enhance the “Youth Outreach” program in China: Encourage more Chinese youth to join WFP students network to give the hungry a voice on campus.• Coordinate with other UN agencies to implement tasks such as UN common procurement.
