  Law point is a boutique real-estate law firm, which works with high-end and luxurious residential acquisitions, leasing and developments. It also supports domestic and international developers on substantial redevelopment projects in a range of segments, from hospitality and leisure to slum redevelopment projects. During the course of my 1 month long internship, I gained insight by conducting in-depth research on different legal terms with regards to property law such as RERA, NOC, NDA, Mortagage and more. Also, I aided with several on-going cases through drafting legal documents such as consent forms, occupation certificates, gift deeds, property cards, release deeds, transfer forms, letters of posession, preliminary requisition lists etc. Moreover, I engaged with differences in a Commercial Law suit and Summary Law suit, the development of the Uniform Civil Code and the different ACTs in India such as The Maharashtra Stamp Act, The Transfer Of Property Act (1882), The Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act (2002), The Indian Stamp Act (1899), The Companies Act (2013) and others. In addition, I accessed Manupatra and Indian Kanoon to find judgments which could act as precedents for the firm's current legal cases.
