As a PhD student, I developed a stress detection system in real life which will use smartphones and wearable devices to detect stress of an individual. Physiological signals (HRV and EDA are the most prominent ones) and user feedbacks are used along with advanced machine learning algorithms. After detecting stress, the stress of a user is decreased by reminding happy memories from the past, playing relaxing sounds and offering and explaining yoga (and similar coherent methods) movements. Furthermore, as a Teaching Assistant, I assisted "CmpE 362 - Introduction to Signal Processing" course by solving questions in Problem Sessions, assigning and grading MATLAB projects related to filtering, speech processing, image processing, feature extraction from time and frequency domain and various signal processing applications with machine learning.
