      During my years at the Motor Behavior Lab, I studied how sensory information can affect the control policy of the brain. In particular I focused on the effects of visual feedback on reaching movements. My work consisted of three main parts: Modeling: I built predictive models of the nervous system. I used multi-objective optimization techniques, Bayesian statistics, and non-linear dynamics to characterize the behavior of these models. In particular I focused on the effects of visual feedback on reaching movements. My work consisted of three main parts: Modeling: I built predictive models of the nervous system. I used multi-objective optimization techniques, Bayesian statistics, and non-linear dynamics to characterize the behavior of these models. Data Analysis: I processed, visualized and analyzed large scale data from human subjects. With the help of machine learning techniques and statistical tests, I quantify the effects of different features and derive conclusions for hypothesis testing. Experimental Studies: I use augmented reality to design psychophysical experiments for human subjects. I have designed several experiments and ran more than 200 subjects for my studies. I program the BKIN’s End-Point Lab robot to create reaching tasks. The robot collects real-time data with a frequency of 2000 Hz.
