I was part of the Personalized Medicine group that provided warfarin pharmacogenomics consults for patients admitted to the UIC Hospital that were newly started on warfarin. I helped set up the Clopidogrel pharmacogenomics service for cardiology patients who were scheduled for cardiac catheterization.

My research focused on understanding the role of the acidic microclimate in the absorption of lipophilic drugs from intestinal mixed micelles.
