I first worked with Yazmin as I was developing our Mexico customer base. As a small company, we had limited resources and worked through our state’s export office located in Mexico. They paired us up with Yazmin to act as a translator, interpreter, and to some extent our guide in Mexico. A couple of things about Yazmin were beyond my expectations. Her motivation to meet with me PRIOR to any customer meetings was based on her belief that in order to do her job she must understand the basics of what I will be presenting to customers. Our product is not a commodity item and not something that you buy for home use. She was willing to put forth the effort in understanding our company, the products, and our goal. She also was very focused on keeping me attuned to what my customers were focused on, and she helped lift the curtain that the language barrier often obscures. This was on top of the technical nature of some of our discussions at the customers using words that are not in the everyday English or Spanish language. She went far beyond simply translating – she helped me sell the company and the product. Yazmin knows and understands introducing products into Mexico. She understands the US culture and the Mexican culture and can help you and your company develop your market. While she is now focused more on the regulatory requirements, her keen analytical skills were apparent in my dealings with her and I have no doubt that she can help any company entering the Mexico market. I highly recommend her and will use her services whenever I can.

I worked closely with Yazmin over a four year period. She helped promote our company through out Mexico. She was a fabulous liaison between our company and potential customers. Speaking multiple languages fluently was a major benefit for us. Her professionalism at all times and constant regard for our company was incredible. Literally within 24 hours of meeting she not only digested our company literature she had become an expert. In offices with zero English speaking personnel she could handle my entire pitch from day one. Often she was able to answer complex manufacturing questions without even asking me for help I would highly recommend Yazmin to anyone, especially if building relationships is key to your success.

Success StoriesSuccess Stories - Assisted Quality Switch, Inc, - Newton Falls, Ohio - in the development of export business to Mexico. Personally involved with initial involvement with several companies and acted as translator in highly technical discussions. My business acumen helped Quality Switch understand some of the cultural differences related to doing business in Mexico and interactions with the hierarchy within those companies. This was Quality Switch's first exploration of shipping products into countries where English was not the primary language and began the development of business relationships still in effect today. Quality Switch has now won several prestigious awards from the US government for their success in export markets around the world. Show less
