Description: The Training Coordinator Coach provides orientation to all new BCO (Bridges to Career Opportunities) clients to BCO, FOC and Wesley services. This position provides direct consultation and case management to all FOC clients interested in developing education plans. The Training Coordinator uses the coaching framework to assist clients with developing a plan of action to assist clients to help them reach their education goals and improve financial stability. This position supports the employment division of the FOC. Coordinate schedules and instructors for all bridge classes • Conduct ongoing recruitment for the Bridge classes • Ensure regular communication with instructors • Work with clients based on the education plan to transition from Bridge, then to vocational training, to certification, and lastly to the Employment Specialist/Career Development Manager • Coordinate BCO Information Sessions and Orientations • Provide direct consultation to Wesley House clients regarding program access • Conduct participant assessments for BCO program (TABE and ONET) • Manage day-to-day client activities for BCO program • Develop individualized service plans to assist clients to reach their education goals and toward self sufficiency • Track clients progress toward education goals and document in database • Support clients progress through referrals and supportive services as needed • Document case notes and client feedback to provide comprehensive client services • Ongoing communication with FOC staff to follow up on clients’ progress • Regularly update databases and insure accuracy of data being collected • Track and be accountable toward grant goals that involve the BCO.
