  I have joined Versalink as an intern for three months (Dec 2016-Feb 2017). The internship gave me the opportunity to work hands on in a professional environment related to furniture design. I gained actual work experience not only in design, but also got to learn about working process in the manufacturing and marketing departments. It was a very positive experience. I watched how the designers collaborated on every aspect of the project, and always working as a team. I learnt about the clients and what they envisioned. As a team member, I brainstormed for a concept and looked-for ways to drive and improve the design. I finished with a presentation to my seniors to finalize the design.
