As an aggregator, we had ALL online restaurants in America & Canada and had the most accurate hours of operation; if it was on the internet, then it was on MealMe! We hacked our own checkout flow experience — you can order and track your food within the MealMe App. We quickly grew in popularity, with over 3 million downloads, we hit the top 10 Food & Drink Apps on the App Store, were featured by Apple for App of the Day, earned 4.5 stars across 26k reviews on the App Store, and raised $8.5 million in VC funding. With the $8.5 million in VC funding, we hired a total of 35 technical interns, 9 Full-Time Engineers, 7 Full-Time Senior Engineers, and 2 designers, over the span of 2.5 years, and I led them all. All engineers and designers reported to me, and we quickly built and shipped products and features. I led both the engineer and design teams, pushing each team member into Beast Mode by inspiring them to achieve greatness.

  Greater Atlanta Area Researched for Georgia State University's Global Studies Institute to analyze complex metaphors in the Arabic corpus with machine learning and predictive data analytics. My partner and I scraped a range of radical content from websites using low-level requests. Some websites were restricted and hindered our bot from proper retrieval, so we used Selenium as an alternative work-around. Stored all the scraped data into a .txt file and stashed it onto a Linux Centos server. Used… Show more Researched for Georgia State University's Global Studies Institute to analyze complex metaphors in the Arabic corpus with machine learning and predictive data analytics. My partner and I scraped a range of radical content from websites using low-level requests. Some websites were restricted and hindered our bot from proper retrieval, so we used Selenium as an alternative work-around. Stored all the scraped data into a .txt file and stashed it onto a Linux Centos server. Used Stanford's CoreNLP alongside the Natural Language ToolKit(NLTK) for dependency parsing and part of speech tagging on the new generated Arabic Corpus. Programmed complex algorithms which predicted whether the selected phrase is literal or metaphorical. We were then able to have it predict which word schema it fell under and stored it in our database. The completion of my research resulted in the publication of several research papers that will then be presented in a workshop at the North American Computational Linguistics along with other workshops to receive additional funding to further expand the research area at the university.

  Atlanta, Georgia Led a team of four students on undergraduate research. Experiments involved recording visual data from one vehicle to the other. Car to car camera communication. One vehicle has an RBG color chessboard planted onto the back, which is being followed by another vehicle that has a GoPro and a RaspberryPi camera planted onto the front recording at 4k quality. Used Matlab to stabilize the shaky video and find color patterns at a given distance.
