Yas is an absolute breath of fresh air to work with. Her warm, kind and passionate energy is absolutely infectious to be around. Watching Yas guide, enable and empower a new department and young team of creatives was inspiring to watch and left a lasting impact on all those lucky enough to watch her in action. Yas has nailed the perfect balance of being her authentic, quirky self but always maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism. I thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to work with this talented woman and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Margie McJorrow
I had the pleasure of working alongside Yas during her time at Alpha Digital. Yas has a brilliant mind, and I enjoyed witnessing her ability to bring a big idea to life while still considering the commercial opportunities, wowing our clients and inspired our team on multiple occasions. Yas is approachable, builds rapport easily and will be an asset for wherever she works in the future. All the best Yas, I can’t wait to see what your next step brings.

PASSION PROJECT. As I embarked on my first foray into Internet dating I knew I'd need professional help - like a psychologist or a dating expert. Problem was I didn't want to pay for it because that would be admitting I had 'issues'. So I came up with a cunning plan to receive free expert advice. I approached Bettina Arndt, accomplished author of The Sex Diaries and her willing male accomplice Rob Tiller, sex therapist and relationship counsellor to come on board The Dating Project. We then pitched this idea to Wendy Harmer, founder of The Hoopla, one of Australia's most popular online publishers and had two other brave participants in their forties and fifties come on board. Over the course of The Dating Project we consistently ranked as one of the most popular stories of the week and were invited on several radio stations to share our dating experiences. I had a tremendous amount of fun despite letting slip my true identity on the odd occasion. http://thehoopla.com.au/category/the-dating-project/ Show less

During my quick, but pleasant stopover, I became an expert on the Qantas Frequent Flyer program care of some juicy briefs that came my way. During my quick, but pleasant stopover, I became an expert on the Qantas Frequent Flyer program care of some juicy briefs that came my way.

What a sunny start to my return downunder! And to really get me in the mood for appreciating what's on offer in the 'lucky country', I worked on a brief for LateRooms that celebrated the exciting possibilities in store for the spontaneous traveler. Tis a beautiful thing when passion and work collide. As the proud owner of www.ladieswhospablog.com I was delighted to work on the 'digital makeover' for The Sanctuary Spa. What a surreal and fortunate day it was to walk into The Sanctuary Spa and realise I was getting paid to be pampered!! Although, it is research. And I do like to be thorough in my thinking... I enjoyed making my mark on their iconic offices situated in the heart of busy Brick Lane. The three things I am most proud of: - Instigating a daily poll charting the serious issues of the Creative Department (from new hairstyles to career changes) - Injecting a sense of fun, flair and the unexpected to each brief and every day at LBi - Introducing talented and nice people to the senior staff of the Creative Department. I’m hoping the ‘honorary tea and cake tray’ on my last day was a good indication that my efforts were appreciated. Or maybe, just like me, LBi makes the most of any excuse to have cake! Show less

Despite the absence of overseas trips whilst at Poke, I feel I embarked on my own 'educational adventure'. During my time I discovered the offside rule care of a World Cup campaign, a local band in Leeds thanks to an Orange community project, and the side effects of wearing wellies at Glastonbury. Other notable discoveries in the office that rate a mention are: - The timeliness of Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' - The dwindling popularity of the Jaffa cake - The iconic summer footwear and essential Shoreditch staple: the espadrille Show less

It was all glamour and glitz at London HQ. Whisked off to Amsterdam for fast-shooting edits and mingling with the sound professionals on set as part of the Philips Sound campaign. Then, collaborating with one of the music industry's elite - Jonathon from Spotify. Ellie Goulding and a few rock stars pitched in for this project but they were never a match for Jonathon. And finally, to top it off I became entrenched in one of my favourite subjects -- lip glosses and all things make-up. I happily chipped away into long days for a monster pitch and a free lipstick. Just off buzzing Carnaby Street and around the corner from friendly Frank's, DHM was a lovely home for me. This visit saw me embark on new territory - developing a social media ethos and concepts for luxury brands. How ironic. Luxury thrives on exclusivity and the privacy of a VIP world. So how do you keep this in tact when you're in the open space of the internet? I think I found some answers... From Horsham to Oslo to Old Street, Hyper created a seasoned traveller out of me. I collected these miles on accounts like More Th>n, Telenor and the BBC. This also meant my knowledge on home insurance, telecommunications and mental health grew a little. From Horsham to Oslo to Old Street, Hyper created a seasoned traveller out of me. With close to 3 years under my belt, I owe a lot to Dare and the memorable situations I landed myself into in the name of the job. Here are just a few: 1. Covering a naked woman in bacon rashers and pepperoni. She was a vegetarian. (Barclays banner campaign) 2. Directing Harry Hill in a fight against a cursor. (ITV banner campaign) 3. Holding a frank conversation with a drag queen and Londoners in the back of a black cab. (Barclaycard viral documentary on nightlife in our capital city) 4. Buying expensive red shoes in my size. (Google demo) 5. Coaching topless men through saucy bedroom moments (ITV microsite) Now you can see why I love this job and what I do! Show less

A trip to Paris, followed by a short visit to a bathroom in Brick Lane, found me filming a naked man in a shower. This was all part of our award-winning Sunsilk Shower Slave interactive video. In my wildest dreams I could not think of a more amazing place to start my career in digital. So it seems fitting that no leaving card has managed to top the one I had under my wing as I left the office of Jermyn Street.
