  Responsibilities: -Create and update Activity/Issue logs for various development projects (solar and wind)-Assisted with having the Round 4ex projects (Post-preferred bidder projects) ready for Financial Close-Assist project managers with the development process for round 5 projects in order to be fully bid compliant for round 5 bidding process in South Africa of the SA REIPPPP-Bidding – assist during bidding process with information gathering, report writing and commercial input during bidding. Assist the bidding team by traveling to JHB in the weeks prior to bid submission-Ensure that relevant permits for projects are approved and are correctly managed (Applied for and approval received) -Participate in the production of the development strategy document -Provide updates to the weekly development board via the weekly reporting schedule -Review/prepare memos on key issues in the Renewable Energy development and construction sector-Participate in quarterly asset reviews for each development region (Globally) Expansion of Mainstream Renewable Power Development Pipeline:-Expansions / extensions: Initiated the expansion of the current pipeline around existing MRP site areas, new areas, and future Renewable Energy Hubs to be created by competitors. This includes site assessments and related reporting-Active participation in industry trade associations such as attendance at conferences to increase profile of the development team and Mainstream Renewable Power in the industry. -Maintain active role in SAWEA e.g. working group or equivalent -Ensure there is consistent adherence to practice in the administration of contracts for EAPs and environmental specialists (bird, bat, ECOs)-Ensure establishment and maintenance of tools (excel spreadsheet) in conjunction with relevant internal support to standardise MRP response to information requests through the EIA process w.r.t water usage, job creation and socio economic impacts
