At BYJU's, we attempt to fuse what students observe in their day-to-day life to what they need to understand academically in order excel at Physics. I feel that oftentimes, an exam-oriented approach of learning fractures the connection between science and nature, and an ideal education system should try to re-establish this connection. The concept of coherent combining of femtosecond laser pulses was explored in great detail, with focus on all-fiber coherent combining setup and applications of said systems. While exploring applications of femtosecond pulses, the phenomenon of filamentation was explored with a focus on strategic applications. Worked under Prof. Deepak Kumar Goswami on developing Neuromuscular Stimulator Electrodes and externally simulating paralyzed muscles. Studied the mechanism of detecting various signals being generated in the brain and the restrictions involved in the development and use of various electrodes used to date. Studied the possibility of using organic electronics to tackle restrictions and use detected signals to externally simulate muscles of with injured neural connections as an attempt to partially cure paralysis. Worked under Prof. Sajal Biring on the use of DBRs in making monochromatic transparent display panels with applications in the automobile industry. Studied the use of optical thin films as filters and reflectors. Studied properties of various materials in order to find materials with the desired optical properties. Studied metallic nanoparticle behavior in response to incident electromagnetic waves. Designed DBRs to be used in developing monochromatic transparent displays. Suggested designs of such displays.
