Responsibilities as Quality Engineer (Rail Systems):- Support and promote the implementation of the Link Alliance Quality Management System (the LAQMS) across all Rail Systems activities - Track, Earthing & Bonding, OHLE and Signalling.- Assist in the delivery of the Link Alliance Quality Audit Programme, including monitoring the timely completion of any identified corrective action.- Support the review of Construction Management Plan processes, including Inspection and Test Plans, associated checklists and forms.- Assist the Delivery Team in their implementation of the Link Alliance electronic document control systems.- Proactively manage the creation of ‘Quality Packs’ containing ITP-based Construction and testing evidence information used in the completion of Design Certificates and Handover process to achieve (or better) handover milestone dates.- Assist in the maintenance of Non-Conformance Systems and monitor the timely completion of any identified non-conformance event.- Assist in capturing, investigating, and disseminating any ‘lessons learned’ events or opportunities for improvement.Responsibilities as Audit Manager:- Create a schedule of internal and external audits, to assess implementation of the Management Plans that form the Link Alliance Quality Management System.- Identify and manage the allocation of existing resources needed to successfully implement the schedule.- Undertake internal audits and support the implementation of external audits- Provide data on the status of the schedule and corrective actions for inclusion within relevant monthly reports.- Ensure the co-ordination, escalation and closure of all corrective actions that result from areas of improvement identified during the audits.
