Washington, DC Choral Festival since its inception in 2011 until 2016, including researching and booking artists (50 international ensembles from six continents and 24 countries), coordinating and producing all festival events and activities, communicating information to vendors and clients, leading a team of 5-8 employees, and marketing the festival. The Festival received annual coverage by the Washington Post and attracted a record number of 3,000 concertgoers by 2016. • Created and implemented brand new international choral series, which saw 520% increase in audience attendance over 4 years. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Organized and managed international tour and concert arrangements for up to 240 performers for Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and May Festival Chorus, Minnesota Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and musical ensembles from USA and abroad. • Provided training on policy and procedures to six new employees, in addition to managing up to six interns per each summer semester. • Traveled abroad to oversee venues and programs in Brazil, Trinidad and Russia, leading to 15% new business partnerships. • Secured concerts and travel arrangements for US touring ensembles around the world, including work in South Korea, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Poland, Austria, England, Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Cuba, and the United States.
