For my graduation thesis I interned at Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis. They are the charity of the children's hospital of Amsterdam. The team is rather small, however they are fundraising for a beautiful cause. It has been a humbling experience, putting all my effort and knowledge to a good cause. My job was focused on online marketing and communication. I was responsible for the social media outings, newsletters, blogs and articles. Alongside I helped with fundraising events, coordinating them and providing the hosts with appropriate information. My thesis concerned online message framing and donation intention, where I looked into how online content can influence the donation intention of a consumer. For this thesis I received a 7.7 and will publish it in collaboration with my thesis counselor at the NHTV. Show less

During my third-year at the NHTV, I interned at CleverLions, a consultancy, research, inspiration and startup, all in one. They are developing a brand new technology/tool called SmartOcto and want to take the next step in content and content-delivery by combining creativity and technology. During my internship I gathered a lot of knowledge on big data, data strategy, content marketing, content strategy and how to work within a fast changing work environment. Alongside I was able to take a look behind the scenes of a start-up. I truly enjoyed working at CleverLions. They educated me on the essentials of online marketing, analytics and data strategy. This knowledge is something that I have valued over the past year. It has been the foundation of my work over the past year, granting my the ability to have a whole new view on online content and marketing. Show less
