During this internship, I learned a lot about the necessary steps for the construction of a photovoltaic power plant as well as the functioning of energy markets, particularly renewable energy. Within the company, the "development" department acts as a link between the commercial part and the construction of the power plant (ready-to-build project). We must ensure that the project complies with all the necessary authorizations for its construction, take care of the connection of the plant with Enedis, the network manager. Then, we must secure a selling price (CRE tender or open bidding) and ensure the technical and financial solidity of the project with the support of the design office. Finally, the developer presents his project to the Investment Committee and the management gives its go, no-go, or reserves to finance and build the project. Personally, here are the tasks on which I participated the most: - Writing Technical and Financial Proposals for Enedis connection (site plans, ground plans, cadastral plans, synoptic drawing, technical details of the plant, administrative information). - Determine all the parameters necessary for the calculation of the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) in the Business Plan: installed power, energy yield, CAPEX, OPEX, purchase price, rent. - Presentation of projects for the Investment Committee. I had the opportunity to present 4 projects by myself that were approved (CAPEX from €140k to €1.3M). Show less

After my baccalaureate, I have managed to get a summer job in a restaurant where I executed many tasks in order to make the evening services smoother and easier for everyone. Even if it was a quite hard job with all the tourists of august, I really liked doing it. In fact, I’ve discovered and improved my customers relationship, seen how a restaurant was being ran from the inside. Moreover I was surrounded by hardworkers colleagues so it was interesting and stimulating !
