I've worked with Yan during his time in Deutsche Bank. He's proven to be very versatile resource, able to adapt to changing business demand and responsibilities, covering a wide range of disciplines from data analysis to project management and business analysis. He initially started as a data analyst building Tableau dashboards for trading desks as well as senior IT and Business Management stakeholders to automate the existing ad-hoc reports and ensure senior personnel have a one stop shop for data related queries to facilitate the decision making process. Data analysis has certainly become one of his key strengths. He excelled at being able to analyse the vast amounts of data coming from multiple sources, make sense out of it, find the key links to stitch it all together in a dashboard satisfying and often exceeding the demand of his stakeholders by being able to present key information in a single view. Yan was later asked to have a joint role of a BA/PM to facilitate the requirements gathering process and migration of APAC trading desks to a new solution digitizing the sales/trader negotiation flows to satisfy MIFID II demand in the region. It was a time-sensitive delivery and Yan stepped up to the occasion, by being able to quickly build the rapport with front office stakeholders, capture the business requirements from FIC sales and trading desks in the region and present them on global prioritisation forums.
