 Updating curriculum for Ophthalmic Nursing Assistant (ONA) as per present trends.  Preparing class roasters, clinical rotation for Students.  Responsible for scheduling training classes, seminars, and conferences.  Taking almost of the lectures for nursing students including 1. Anatomy and Physiology 2. Fundamentals of Nursing 3. Medical Surgical Nursing 4. Paediatric Nursing 5. Pharmacology 6. Microbiology 7. Communication Skills  Supervising the work of nursing trainees and delegating the responsibility to In charge of the particular departments.  Preparing notes on all topics in the syllabus for ONA trainees with new additions if required.  Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports of Nursing Students.  Assisting students in achieving a better understanding of Medical terminology and in improving academic capabilities in designated areas.  Coordinating with other Department for successful running of course.  Keeping a track of other training programs up to date running at Education centre.  Taking care of short term trainee’s form affiliated centres and International nursing trainees to up list their nursing skills regarding Ophthalmology.  Help students to develop positive attitudes towards learning and working.  Help students to develop self-confidence, raise self-concept, and reduce anxiety or fear of working in work area.  Organizing cultural programs on certain occasions (Hospital Day Function).  Taking care of their accommodation and other requisites.
