  Yahya is one of the core founders of Yaghmour Construction and was responsible for the end to end supervision and management of the post blast Beirut renovation project in 2020, a project that spanned over 58 apartments in 20 different complexes and buildings.To ensure the project was achieved successfully, Yahya took up the following activities:Damage and effort estimation: Yahya conducted preliminary damage assessment to the houses impacted by the blast to deduce the required effort and time that would go into renovations.Procurement manager: where he was responsible for organizing tenders with NGOs and INGOs such as Baytna Baytak and ACTED, and ensuring materials were provided on time and as per qualitative standards and agreed upon scope.Recruitment officer: where he selectively recruited and screened over 20 now active workers with varying skillsets (carpenters, blacksmiths workers, painters, electricians, plumbers…)Contract manager: Yahya handled all project related contracts for Yaghmour Construction to ensure compliance with required time and effort estimations that the parties involved had agreed upon under Lebanese regulation.On-field supervisor and consultant: Yahya was also engaged in ensuring that both the technical and relational components involving the workers and hosts are well under control and on track to lead the project to its success, all while providing daily reporting and briefs to the NGO and INGO project managers.

  As a freelancer, Yahya was tasked in undertaking the coordination and supervision of a private entity’s residential construction project. His roles during the project were as follows:Onsite activity quality insurance: Yahya supervised and madesure that site construction activities such as framing, roofing, carpentry, painting, cabinetry, window replacement, and sheetrock installation were in accordance with the owner’s requirements.Yahya also utilized blueprint metrics and design components provided by the owner and validated their application on the project site at every key step.Project management officer: where he managedcommunications between the key stakeholder and the onsite project team while providing daily updates to the owner.
