Experience

It was a great opportunity to be introduced to the US HealthCare System as it was intended to provide medical information related to anticancer drugs commercialized in the USA. My work was focused on Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors for the treatment of polycythemia vera, Myelofibrosis, Chronic and acute GVHD. Applied locally on the skin, they proved to be effective for Non segmental Vitiligo and Atopic Dermatitis. In this role my responsibilities are: •Respond to unsolicited verbal and written medical information inquiries from HCPs and consumers in a prompt, accurate, and compliant manner. This included a wide variety of anti cancer medication (oral and topical JAK inhibitors, kinase inhibitor, CD19-directed cytolytic antibody, programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1)–blocking antibody, Immune Globulin SC neutralizing IgG antibodies against a wide variety of bacterial and viral agents, Immune Globulin IV (of Fc receptors) among others. • Collect and report adverse event data and product complaint data to drug safety departments and quality departments, respectively, within the required timeframe. • Thoroughly and accurately document cases in the medical information database, consistent with operational procedures. • Create and review custom response letters consistent with company operational procedures. • Perform other duties as requested. During the role, I developed a good experience in the following softwares: Incontact Ringcentral (Inbound, outbound calls and Transperfect was incorporated to connect with an interpreter) IRMS (handling HCP and customers inquiries and reporting AE and PQCs) Show less
