As a graphic artist working in Haaret'z daily newspaper's Commercial Department, my work had several aspects: A main one was the design of commercial ads for different clients – among them publishing houses, companies of all sorts and private clients – also furniture, fashion and house ware designers. Emphasis was given on catering to the clients' needs and what they vision the outcome of the ad would be. I was personally responsible for the design, production and printing control of ads in Life Style and Fashion Magazines "Shamenet" (Cream in Hebrew) and "Designer". This included close contact with many factors – the marketing team, the production manager, printing house and of course the clients themselves. Over an allotted schedule I'd design ads, perform quality assurance and coordinate printing time with all the involved above. Different software in use was Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and standard Microsoft Word and Outlook Express. Show less
