With other four group members, I worked for Taylor Young (a design firm) with a task of investigating Northern Quarter in Manchester City in-depth and proposing regeneration plan, which was authorized by the client Manchester City Council. I investigated four sub-areas and made key maps, including an Architecture era map, a key character map and key streets sequential maps. I also developed skills including filling in investigation forms to record information of the heritage areas independently and proposing design ideas. Finally, we completed a survey report and our presentation was spoken highly of by the client. We also got the highest mark among the four Client Based Project groups. Show less
