  After graduation, I Joined Antonov as a CAE analyst, trained to use Romax Designer for system transmission design and optimization. My CAE skills quickly expanded into wet clutch design, driveline gear ratio design, transmission efficiency optimization and etc. Sep 2009, Antonov announced its new Chinese joint venture to produce TX-6 transmission. My role transformed into engineering and purchasing liaison officer to further utilize my language skill and engineering knowledge. Key accomplishments: • Design and development of a six speed automatic transmission (TX-6) • Developed over 30 variants of the entire transmission using advanced CAE tools, reduced the transmission size, weight and part count; • By applying Chinese manufacturing processes, the drivetrain design was optimized for manufacturing, assembly and cost; • HET transmission concept design, over 15 design variations-electric vehicle application • Project to design a three-speed transmission for the electric drive version of the Jaguar XJ model, my job role was to assist the chief designer to complete the concept design phase with over 15 design variations. • Design and development of a two speed mechanical gearbox for the engine accessory drive application • Ford FAI 5R55 and SWRC rally transmission consultant project Show less
