Achieved the structural characterization of lyotropic liquid crystalline phases and their corresponding nanoparticles of DHA and EPA monoglycerides using SAXS, NTA and Cryo-TEM. • Preparation and characterization of the phase behavior of lyotropic liquid crystalline phases and the corresponding nanoparticles based on 2 newly synthesized omega-3 lipids forms. • Conducted SAXS (small angle X-ray scattering) experiments in synchrotron radiation facility Elettra (Trieste, Italy). • Analyzing and evaluating the stability of the nanoparticles using NTA (nanoparticle tracking analysis) and zeta potential measurement. • Author of article “Structural characterization of self-assemblies of new omega-3 lipids: docosahexaenoic acid and docosapentaenoic acid monoglycerides” in journal Physical Chemistry and Chemical Physics. • Participated in Synchrotron X-ray and Neutron Application to Food Science and Technology, The 15th Nordic Workshop on Scattering from Soft Matter.
