The Energy Team was a "One Stop Shop" for energy efficiency products and services. We were Energy Star contractors participating with the New Jersey Office of Clean Energy, making homes and businesses more comfortable and efficient. The Energy Team specialized in the "whole building approach" to include: energy audits, weatherization, insulation, spray foam, LED lighting, solar water heating, solar electric, water conservation, and many other sustainable solutions. Located in Southampton, New Jersey, our 5,000 square foot facility boasted a large showroom, training center, and product warehouse. The Energy Team was the region’s leading group of independent energy efficiency experts. As accredited contractors with The Building Performance Institute (BPI), we approached every property with sound building science, and cutting-edge sustainable innovations. Our focus started with items that provide the lowest costs, with highest returns on investment. I supervised over 20 employees, local contractors, and NJ program practitioners. Our last year in business we performed over $1.7M in project sales. From residential insulation to Solar Thermal installations, our multi-tiered business plan made for a sustainable business platform. The Energy Team was ultimately sold to EIC Comfort Home/Clear Result.
